Master's Message February 2022

Brethren,

I'd first like to take this opportunity to thank the brethren for their confidence in electing me as Worshipful Master of Adelphoi Lodge #33 for the year 2022 and to the officers for taking on their roles. I'm very proud of this honor and I will do my best to represent the office well and to continue the path of improvement the masters and officers have been traveling these last years.

Traveling... that's right; the officers of Adelphoi #33 have already begun traveling and representing our lodge within the East Bay district and without. Visiting other lodges within the Grand Jurisdiction is a good practice for every Mason and Adelphoi plans to do a lot of it. The only thing better than traveling to other lodges is to travel to other lodges with a group of Brothers. If you would like to join us in our travels please do.

As we know the ever present covid threat has continued to rear its ugly head from the shadows and the Fellowcraft degree that our most recent PM, James McCarthy, had planned for December was unfortunately postponed until February. All the preparation was not wasted though as the officers from year 2021 will perform the degree from their previous stations at this month's meeting. It will be a special night when you consider that at our very first meeting following the annual we will also be conferring a degree.

I know all the officers are looking forward to it, and I hope to see you all there.
